During each of these 3 sessions, Kelly Davis will point out common mistakes that beginning writers make. He’ll explain how to avoid these mistakes and led you through various brainstorming exercises to apply to your own stories to ensure that your story keeps your audience on the edge of their seats.

Open to all levels of writers.

INSTRUCTOR – KELLY DAVIS

Lives and works between Oslo and Los Angeles. 

Writer for film, TV and theatre. Kelly has worked as a Script Doctor & Script Consultant with HBO, BBC, Channel 4 (UK), NHK Japan, YLE Finland. 

He has lectured and held screenwriting and story workshops at universities (UCLA – Los Angeles, Westerdals – Oslo, Tokyo University – Japan) and international film festivals in Los Angeles, Berlin, Damascus, Beirut, Tokyo and Toronto. 

Kelly has received grants and residencies from The Norwegian Film Fund (Oslo), Kunstlerhaus Bethanien (Berlin), Icelandic Council for the Arts (Reykjavik), The British Council (London) and the Japan Arts Foundation (Tokyo). 

In 2008, Kelly founded Skriverommet (The Writing Room) – a school and community based in Oslo for writers of all formats and genres.
